What are the responsibilities and job description for the Life Insurance Sales Agent position at PHP Financial Services?
$150,000 at plan commission
Responsibilities:- Determine new customers’ insurance needs, desires, insurance risk, prior coverage, and financial standing via booked consultations to ensure the best client experience possible
- Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies
- Onboard incoming and retain existing clients via a variety of customer service tasks, such as appointment booking, and responding to inquiries regarding billing, coverage, eligibility, and insurance policies
- Assist current policyholders during the insurance claims process while overseeing existing insurance claims
- Manage electronic and paper records and ensure all contracting paperwork is kept current
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must
- Skilled with Microsoft Office
- Candidates with an active Life & Health insurance license are strongly preferred
- Previous health insurance or life insurance experience a plus
- Previous customer service or experience as a sales representative preferred
- License or the motivation to get one
