About the Job
We're seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Travel RN in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your expertise in cardiology to provide top-notch patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing patients with cardiac conditions and be comfortable working with complex medical equipment. A valid ACLS certification and NIH Stroke Certification are essential for this position. Additionally, the nurse must have at least 1.5 years of experience in a similar setting and possess excellent communication skills.
This assignment requires the nurse to work every other weekend and holiday. Floating may be required at the hospital's discretion. Navy Blue Scrubs are the standard attire for this unit. The traveler will need to complete an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment. Once onboard, they will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and contributing to the overall success of the unit.
