Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled CT Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Iowa. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners and assisting patients during imaging procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
- Assist patients during imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history and imaging results
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computed tomography technology and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current licensure as a Registered Technologist (RT) in the state of practice
- At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in an acute care setting
- Ability to work 13 hours per week, including night shifts and weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
