Travel CT Technologist Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Travel CT Technologist to join our team. This 12-week contract will require working 40 hours per week, with shifts of 9 hours each night.
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT scans for patients in a variety of medical settings.
Operate and maintain CT scanners, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Develop and implement procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort during scanning processes.
Maintain accurate records of patient scans and results.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
Requirements:
Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Computed Tomography (CT).
At least 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in a travel or per-diem setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Proficient in electronic medical record systems and software used in the field.
