Overview of the Position:
The Sales Representative is responsible for selling corporate products or services through the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas, as well as bidding on repair work from various customers in the aerospace field. The Contract Sales Specialist has the responsibility and authority to perform assigned tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contacts new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how specific Wencor Group products could meet these needs.
- Provides accurate bidding data on customer RFQs/RFPs with the intention of bringing in more work.
- Analyze E&O Inventory to push shop usage or offload through sales packages and ensure all data in company ERP System is accurate and up to date at all times.
- Works with corporates sales team to provide potential customers with competitive offerings.
- Create inventory packages for removed capabilities NHAs and Generate repair orders for stock items as needed.
- Develop market relationships to create new sales opportunities and Maintain currency of listings of saleable inventory on applicable sites.
- Assists in achieving and meeting sales goals set jointly with management and performs market research on new and existing products.
- Works closely with Customer Service Representatives on obtaining units from the market to support exchanges for customer units in house.
- Contributes to procurement needs by creating quotes for daily repair orders, and assisting with shopping for work order supply needs.
- Provide information and updates for various sales operation and resource systems including ILS, OneAero and AeroXChange.
- Analyze and respond to Request for Quotes (RFQs) via email or telephone.
- Other duties may be assigned.

- Excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to summarize data and trends clearly.
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
- Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management.
- Competency in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to occasional travel to attend sales events or exhibitions.
- Knowledge of the aviation industry and airline MRO.
Education / Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in remote selling aerospace products into airlines, MRO's and distributors desired.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience with contract management in aerospace.
