Director of Nursing DON | Full-Time | Surgery Center | Encino, CA
Introduction to the Director of Nursing DON Position:
Seeking a Director of Nursing DON for a fast-paced Ambulatory Surgery Center. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into the clinic's operations during the orientation period, as you'll observe and engage with other departments to understand how they collaborate seamlessly within the surgery center.
Director of Nursing DON Role Details:
- Location: Encino, CA
- Salary: $52-$55 per hour, based on your experience.
- Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Director of Nursing DON Responsibilities:
- Oversee surgical pre-op, intra-op, and PACU care
- Assist with procedures and patient monitoring
- Manage staff scheduling, credentialing, and compliance
- Maintain inventory, safety protocols, and risk management
- Ensure regulatory compliance with accreditation standards
- Provide direct nursing care for patients under local, MAC, and general anesthesia
Director of Nursing DON Qualifications:
- Current California RN license
- BLS & ACLS certification required
- Experience with The Joint Commission accreditation process
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a fast-paced surgery center environment
- Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented
- Flexible schedule based on center needs
