You are applying to a growing, small business in high-tech industries. We are looking for a motivated person to join our purchasing team.
Job Duties Include:
· Obtain quotes for material from vendors
· Negotiate price, terms and lead time
· Create Purchase Orders
· Track orders to ensure on time delivery
· Clerical duties, (photocopying, scanning, faxing, filing, etc.)
Required Skills:
· Microsoft Word and Excel
· Communicate with vendors through email and telephone
· Excellent oral and written communication
· Multitasking
· Take initiative
· Time management skills
· Ability to prioritize
· Works well with others and individually
· Ability to cope with changes
Benefits, Hours & Wages:
- 1 week paid time off accrued 1st year
- 2 weeks paid time off after 2nd year
- 6am - 2:30pm Monday- Friday
- Overtime when required
