Phycinity is a busy Pediatric medical practice in Cameron, NC. Our mission is to improve the health of our community by providing high quality, comprehensive medical care in a welcoming and compassionate environment. We are fast-paced and looking for a team player that has great energy to serve our patients.
We are looking for a Medical Assistant to support our providers and perform administrative tasks to help with patient care. You should be a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and be able to work well under pressure. You should have an interest in medicine and enjoy serving others.
Responsibilities:
- Take medical histories, vital signs and administer injections and other medications (e.g. vaccinations).
- Perform tasks assigned by the provider: taking blood pressure and temperature, collecting specimens, scheduling patients appointments etc.
- Gather necessary information regarding patients’ health conditions from family members or other sources.
- Record reason for visit and pertinent health information in patients' medical charts.
Requirements:
- Graduation from Medical Assistant Program
- Completed National Accreditation exam
