Schedule: Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)
Pay: $25-$37.50 per hour
We are seeking a Senior HR Solutions Specialist to provide expert-level support on employee inquiries, with a strong focus on Leave of Absence (LOA) management and HR service delivery. In this role, you will respond to employee requests through the HR ticketing system, resolve complex issues related to leave programs, payroll, benefits, and policies, and serve as a subject matter expert on LOA processes. You will also mentor junior team members and collaborate with HR partners to improve service efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to employee inquiries through the HR ticketing system, ensuring timely and accurate support.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Leave of Absence (LOA) programs, including FMLA, CFRA, disability, parental leave, and other company-sponsored leave policies.
- Process and track LOA requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Work closely with employees, managers, and HR teams to provide guidance on LOA procedures, eligibility, and documentation requirements.
- Investigate and resolve complex HR inquiries, escalating cases when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to LOA cases and HR service requests.
- Identify process improvements and contribute to enhancements in HR service operations.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior HR Solution Specialists.
- Stay up to date with employment laws and best practices related to leave management and HR service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4 years of experience in HR services, with a focus on Leave of Absence management and employee support.
- Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, disability leave, parental leave, and other HR policies in a multi-state environment inclusive of California.
- Experience with HR systems, ticketing platforms, and leave management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and process improvement mindset.
- Ability to manage sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to handle complex employee situations.
