About the Role: We are looking for a Medical Payment Poster who would be responsible for accurate and timely posting of insurance payments. We are rapidly growing and leading physical therapy (PT) clinic platform in the U.S. We own and operate 200 PT clinics that provide a variety of outpatient rehabilitation services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, hand therapy and other ancillary services. The position is responsible for the full scope of payment posting duties from a wide range of payors. This position is full time (40 hours/week, Monday-Friday).

Job Duties:
- Post and reconcile insurance payments to the bank account.
- Posting insurance and third-party payments, contractual write-offs and transfers by either electronic means or manually.
- Post denials timely with the appropriate reason code.
- Transfer balances accurately and timely so that billing and statements are produced without error.
- Balance postings daily
- Research unidentified payments and/or recoupments to determine appropriate resolution.
- Maintain a high level of productivity.
- Work with the team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
- Review Payor trends to determine root cause issues.
- High School/G.E.D requirement or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years medical experience required, with a minimum of 1 year experience in payment posting, electronic payment posting preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of insurance explanation of benefits required.
- Understanding of medical terminology required.
- Prior experience with high volume transactional environment preferred.
- Excellent typing and 10 key skills required.
- Medical Payment posting experience: 1 year (required)
- Understanding of explanation of benefits (required)
