Salary Range: Negotiable and highly competitive! - Salary Range $90,000 to $108,000 annually Monthly Incentive Benefits. Individual salaries dependent on location, experience and job related factors.

Setting: Outpatient Orthopedic - Hand Therapy

We currently have an opening for a Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team at our Vallejo clinic. We are an outpatient clinic providing a wide range of services, including post-operative, neck & spine rehabilitation, and hand therapy. We are looking for a therapist who has experience (or interest) in hand therapy and upper extremities. CHT certification is not required. We offer individualized mentorship and development for those interested in becoming a certified hand therapist.

Position Summary:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with upper extremity conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function, reduce pain, and improve mobility
• Provide specialized therapy for a variety of conditions, including post-surgical recovery, traumatic injuries, repetitive use disorders, and chronic conditions
• Design and prefabricated or custom orthoses and splints
• Provide manual therapy techniques and advanced modalities
• Collaborate with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), ensuring quality care and adherence to treatment plans
• Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and strategies for optimal recovery
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using our state-of-the-art EMR system

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an occupational therapy curriculum approved by the licensing board
• Current state licensure as an Occupational or Physical Therapist.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred
• Minimum of 1–2 years in outpatient therapy with a focus on upper extremity rehabilitation preferred
