Physical Sciences Inc., an employee-owned company located north of Boston in Andover, MA, is seeking to employ a Manager, Battery Systems Business Development to support battery development initiatives. We are seeking candidates with extensive experience in battery system development and US Government research and development and acquisition program development. The ideal candidate will develop marketing strategy for print and digital media, expand customer engagement, prepare and present sponsor briefings, plan and support trade show exhibits, and participate in professional conferences and meetings. This position is highly visible and collaborates across the business unit with R&D, Operations, and Production leadership.
Minimum qualifications include:
- 10 Years of experience with battery system development and US Government research and development and acquisition program development.
- Conversant with major aspects of battery design and performance trade space including primary, secondary and thermal batteries as well as battery chemistry systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with the NAVSEA SBIR and Acquisition Programs highly desirable.
- Bachelor of Science in Physics, Chemistry, or Engineering Discipline, an advanced degree is a strong plus.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
