Joe King, PT - husband, father, teacher, mentor
Owner - Physical Therapy Advantage, North Aurora, IL
Joe opened Physical Therapy Advantage in 2007 after spending 6 years working at Naperville Physical Therapy for Mary Rachford. Mary and her husband, Gary, became Joe's business partners to open the clinic, and according to their agreement, Joe became sole owner in 2011. Prior to opening the clinic in 2007, Joe enjoyed being an adjunct professor at Midwestern University's Physical Therapy Program for 4 years. He continues to provide guest lectures for various colleges and universities in the area (North Central College, Aurora University, Waubonsee Community College and Northern Illinois University's PT Program) and taking students for their clinical rotations from Elgin Community College's PTA Program and North Central College's PT Program. Outside of the clinic, Joe enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling with his wife, being outdoors - hiking, boating and hunting.

What You’ll Do :
- Provide top-tier manual therapy services to an orthopedic patient population.
- Diagnose accurately and create tailored treatment plans that evolve with your patients’ progress.
- Maintain a caseload of 50-65 visits per week, ensuring consistent reassessment and treatment plan adjustments.
- Engage in thorough and professional communication with clients, team members, and referring physicians.
- Participate in client and community education efforts, enhancing awareness of physical therapy benefits.
- Stay actively involved in continuing education, including monthly skills training sessions.
