Business development manager

Physical therapy practice is seeking a mature, highly motivated Full-Time Practice Liaison/Marketing Representative for our privately-owned outpatient physical therapy clinic located in Bensalem/Levittown, PA. Candidate must have quality of go -getter. The majority of marketing activities will be (in/outbound) direct or indirect, social media contact with physicians, office managers, front desk staff, schools, sports teams and community referral sources.

This position is full-time and will have a performance-based bonus plan in addition to the hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Build and strengthen relationships with direct referral sources; physicians, office managers, referral coordinators and other office staff.
• Act as a liaison between direct referral sources and the organization’s internal staff; Physical Therapists, Technicians, Front Desk staff and Billing Office staff.
• Support the goals of referral growth through direct referral source satisfaction, education and communication.
• Act as a liaison between non-direct referral sources (case managers, fitness facilities, church groups, running/walking groups, etc.) and the organization’s internal staff; Physical Therapists, Technicians, Front Desk staff and Billing Office staff.
• Develop and assist in implementing marketing strategies to grow programs/services, as identified in the organization’s strategic plan.
• Commits to be knowledgeable of companies direct mail equipment and/or process and has a thorough working knowledge of that equipment and/or process. Participates with direct mail program and assures that developed pieces are processed according to schedule.
• Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, internet websites, and other sources.
• Monthly projections and weekly meeting with leadership.

Position requires daily travel between referral source and clinic location.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
