Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Manager to oversee Physical Therapy Services, P.A. in Elizabethton, TN. The Practice Manager oversees the operations over all business divisions including clinical and non-clinical day-to-day operations, staff/facility management, financial, operational management, compliance and legal, and other duties to ensure the practice runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of medical office operations, and proficiency in health insurance.
Responsibilities
Staff/Facility Management:
o Hiring, training, and supervising staff for all business departments
o Addressing performance issues and staff development
o Ensuring staff compliance with policies and procedures
o Company payroll and HR duties
o Maintain a clean and safe working/treating environment
Financial Management:
o Understanding the intricacies of insurance billing and reimbursement methodologies
o Regularly analyzing financial performance and maintain accurate reporting of key metrics to aid in identifying trends to make informed decisions
o Creating accurate budgets and forecasts essential for planning and managing financial resources effectively
o Negotiating favorable contracts with vendors and payers is essential for controlling costs and maximizing revenue
o Develop strategies to generate sufficient revenue to cover costs to invest in future growth
Operational Management:
o Overseeing patient care: scheduling, flow, progress, satisfaction, and relationships
o Management of equipment, supplies, and all vendor relationships
o Implementing and maintaining EMR System
o Optimizing the process of billing, claims submission, and collections is crucial for maximizing revenue
o Identifying and mitigating financial risks, such as fraud, regulatory changes, and economic downturns, is vital for long-term stability
Compliance and Legal:
o Ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws/regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
o Developing and implementing standard operating procedures
o Addressing complaints, concerns, licensing, and assist billing with credentialing
Other Duties:
o Participation with owners in strategic planning and decision making
o Staying up to date with current industry trends and developments
o Collaborating with healthcare providers and team throughout all divisions
o Establishing and maintaining relationships with referral sources and industry partners
o Maintaining a positive and professional environment
o Promotes and markets programs and services in the surrounding community
Assists other team members and performs other duties as needed
Pay is commensurate on experience.

Education:
- Bachelors (Preferred)
Experience:
· 3 years Medical Industry (preferred)
· Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, Office Manager, Medical Biller or another administrative role within the health care sector
· Must be a passionate team player and a strong motivator
· Must have strong background in driving performance excellence through strong people management
· Experience in problem-solving, exercising sound judgment, maintaining confidentiality and the ability to interact professionally and effectively with co-workers, clients, and the public
