Premier Outpatient Physical Therapy office (teaching facility) is looking for a full-time Physical Therapist aide. We are located in Beverly Hills and candidates who live nearby are preferred. Must have a passion for helping others and eager to learn.
Massage therapist, training experience, or prior PT aide experience preferred.
Duties will include light front office work and direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
Pay: competitive with bonus potential
$18.50 - $19.50 an hour

Responsibilities
- Perform delegated, selected or routine tasks under the direction and supervision of the physical therapist:
- Prepare treatment area, equipment
- Prepare patient for treatment
- Observe patient during treatment to document response and report to physical therapist
- Instruct, motivate, safeguard and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities under direction of physical therapist
- Secure patients into or onto treatment equipment
- As part of care team participate in planning modifying and coordinating treatment
- Perform light clerical duties such as patient scheduling and texting missing patients
- Maintain equipment and furniture to keep it in good working condition, including performing the assembly and disassembly of equipment and accessories
- Administer active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, heat , light, sound, water, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, etc.
- Change linens, prep rooms, treatment stations
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- H.S. diploma or GED required.
- Pre-physical therapy/allied health degree tract preferred or background in health/wellness or personal training.
