Job Summary:
We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia services in various operating room settings. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week, with a combination of 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts, and occasional backup call shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in nurse anesthesia practice and adhere to the Standards of Nurse Anesthesia Practice
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and nurse anesthesia program
- Registered as a RN in the state of Pennsylvania
- Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists
- BCLS and ACLS certification
- Proficient in the administration of inhalation and intravenous anesthetics, as well as monitoring of regional anesthetics
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in open heart, pediatric, and labor and delivery settings
