Gastroenterologist

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Gastroenterologist to the group at NYC Health Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. The Hospital is part of NYC Health Hospitals. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor & delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services—from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults—all designed to keep our community healthy and accommodates more than 250,000 outpatient visits, more than 89,000 emergency room visits, and with 371 beds, more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterological care for our diverse patient population
• Provide comprehensive care for patients with inflammatory bowel disease
• Comprehensive Women's Gastrointestinal Health- Provide care and emotional support to women facing gastrointestinal issues
• Perform Diagnostic/ Therapeutic Upper Endoscopy, Colonoscopy and/or Push Enteroscopy (with or without biopsies, polypectomy, control of bleeding, ligation of varices, removal of foreign bodies, dilation, stenting, etc.) for patients seen in gastroenterology clinic
• Perform Advance/Biliary endoscopy services including ERCP, Endoscopic Ultrasound, and Enteral Stenting
• Perform and interpret capsule endoscopy procedures
• Provide gastroenterology consultations for inpatients
• Will be responsible for providing a diverse range of gastroenterological care to both inpatients and outpatients
