Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Hematologist - Oncologist to the group at NYC Health Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. The Hospital is part of NYC Health Hospitals. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor & delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services—from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults—all designed to keep our community healthy and accommodates more than 250,000 outpatient visits, more than 89,000 emergency room visits, and with 371 beds, more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.

- Diagnosing blood-related disorders, such as anemia, leukemia, and hemophilia
- Developing treatment plans for patients with blood disorders
- Administering specialized therapies, such as blood transfusions and bone marrow transplants
- Monitoring the effectiveness of treatments and adjusting them as needed
- Providing regular check-ups and follow-up care for patients with blood disorders
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as oncologists and hematopathologists, to provide comprehensive care
- Participating in clinical trials and research studies to advance the field of hematology
Salary : $255,200
