Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Attending Physician to the group at NYC Health Hospitals/Harlem. The Hospital is part of the NYC Health Hospitals. Harlem Hospital is a designated Level 1 Trauma Center and is recognized for providing centers of excellence in the areas of Bariatric Surgery, Breast Imaging and Sexual Assault Forensics. Our teams provide services for nearly 213,000 outpatient visits, more than 83,000 emergency room visits and over 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. To maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

The primary function is to provide comprehensive, compassionate quality care to the patients of Health and Hospitals/Harlem. Under supervision of the Department Chairperson with broad latitude for independent judgement and initiative, the Staff Physician is an integral part of the medical team at the facility. They are expected to take a leading role in the delivery of health care services to patients in addition to being responsible for the supervision of the advanced practice practitioner staff.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved medical school
- Successful completion of an accredited residency program in the appropriate clinical specialty
- Possession of a valid license to practice medicine in New York State
- Possession of a valid DEA License
- Malpractice Provided
- Hourly: $106.77

The annual base salary listed complies with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The annual base salary listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses/incentive compensation or benefits. Total compensation depends on many factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, and historical collections. Actual total compensation may differ.
