New York Dental Affiliates (NYDA) is adding an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to the group at NYC Health Hospitals / Lincoln. The Hospital is part of NYC Health Hospitals. Lincoln is a designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties including its award-winning Cancer and Breast Centers. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Weill Medical College of Cornell University to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

The Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon will diagnose patients and treat various conditions affecting the oral and maxillofacial regions. Responsibilities include direct supervision of OMFS resident staff. The candidate will be part of a growing OMFS Department that includes a strong infrastructure of support with the present attending staff in OMFS. Assumption of role will include Program Director in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery .
- Primary responsibilities include direct supervision of OMFS resident team as Program Director in OMFS.
- Participation in daily rounds of in-patients.
- Scholarly activity with resident education program and mentorship of research initiatives.
- Educational conferences and presentations to faculty and residents across all disciplines.
- Growth of Craniofacial Division to include treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Cleft Palate Repair.
Qualifications
Wages and Benefits include :
Annual Base Salary : $334,000 based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional / per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $432,900
Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
