Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Thoracic Surgeon to the group at NYC Health Hospitals / Lincoln. The Hospital is part of NYC Health Hospitals. Lincoln is a designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties including its award-winning Cancer and Breast Centers. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Weill Medical College of Cornell University to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities :
- Lead a team of residents and mid-level providers to cover both inpatient and ambulatory thoracic clinical practices.
- Attend all thoracic surgery consults in a timely manner in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Attend solid tumor conference every two weeks.
- Establish and direct or co-direct a chest multidisciplinary conference as a working and teaching conference with a lung cancer screening program.
- Aggressively work to build the volume of chest surgery cases (thoracic).

Annual Base Salary : $404,000 based on a 40-hour work week.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $534,020
Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
