Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Oculoplastic Surgeon to the group at NYC Health Hospitals / Kings County. The Hospital is part of NYC Health Hospitals. Kings County Hospital operates a world-renowned Level 1 Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, which serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Kings County is located in the East Flatbush / Prospect-Lefferts section of Brooklyn, close to the 2 and 5 subways. Our patients are diverse, with the majority being Afro-Caribbean. Most of our patients are native English speakers. Knowledge of French / Haitian Creole is helpful, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct consultations, diagnose conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans for a wide range of orbital and oculoplastic disease.
- Monitor patients' recovery, address complications, and ensure the long-term success of surgical interventions.
- Participate in resident physician training.
- Coordinate didactics (journal club and case presentations).
- Stay updated on the latest techniques and advancements in oculoplastic surgery.
- Excellent communication skills, and commitment to working with underserved communities.
Qualifications
Wages and Benefits Include : Annual Base Salary : $85,050 based on a 12-hour work week. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $93,555, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below :
Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
