The Field Client Executive is responsible for managing and growing client accounts through strategic field sales efforts and relationship building. This role focuses on developing and maintaining strong face-to-face relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and engaging in opportunities that drive revenue growth. The Field Client Executive actively engages with clients through in-person meetings, presentations, and regular communication to identify and close opportunities. This position works closely with internal teams such as Inside Client Executives, Case Management, and Operations to ensure a seamless and positive client experience.
To be considered, candidates must be ready to consistently use CRM tools to track client interactions, maintain accurate data, and monitor key metrics. The primary purpose of this role is to establish a strong market presence in assigned territories, develop new business relationships, drive market penetration for new products, and support the company's overall sales goals by providing outstanding service and support through direct client engagement.
- Develop and execute territory-based sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Conduct regular in-person client meetings and presentations to introduce products or services, understand their needs, and build strong relationships
- Manage and grow existing client accounts through regular face-to-face interactions, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for expansion
- Achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly activity KPIs, including ongoing pipeline development and field visits
- Drive sales by following the established sales process and achieving growth targets through direct client engagement
- Utilize Salesforce effectively to manage sales pipeline, client relationships, and oversee your portfolio of accounts
- Generate sales opportunities through networking, industry events, referrals, and strategic prospecting within assigned territory
- Coordinate with Inside Sales Executives, Case Management, and Operations department to ensure smooth client onboarding and service delivery
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events
- Conduct detailed territory analysis and develop strategic plans for market penetration
- Remain up to date on industry trends, market changes, and competitor offerings to provide relevant solutions to clients
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
Requisite Qualifications
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills for effective client meetings and demonstrations
- Strong negotiation skills with proven ability to close complex sales while maintaining positive client relationships
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish and maintain long-term client relationships
- Effective territory and time management skills to optimize field activities and client meetings
- Proficient in SalesForce and other sales tools to track leads and manage customer data
- Strategic thinking ability to analyze market opportunities and develop territory plans
- Flexibility to adjust strategies based on client feedback and market changes
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a field sales role
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Strong business acumen with focus on building long-term client partnerships
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively within assigned territory (50-70% travel)
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in related field OR;
- 3-7 years of professional experience in Field Sales, Business Development, or a related outside sales role
- Previous experience in the legal and/or healthcare industry is highly preferred
- Proficient with MS Office, SalesForce (or similar CRM software), and ability to learn the company's workflow information management system (WIMS)

Work Schedule
- 5 day/40-hour work week with flexibility for client meetings and travel
