Job Description:
- This hospital seeks a Board Certified / Board Eligible Physician with ER experience to work on a moonlighting basis in their Emergency Department.
The facility is located approximately 1-1/2 hours from Montgomery and an hour from Jackson. You will have the support of either 2 RNs or 1 RN/1 LPN during your shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing medical care to patients in the emergency department
- Stabilizing trauma patients and transferring them to nearby facilities when necessary
- Working with X-ray, CT, and Lab equipment on site, with remote radiologist reading all CT scans and X-rays
- Admitting and rounding on patients while they are being admitted
- Using electronic medical records (EMR)
You will also have access to a private physician suite with a bed, shower, refrigerator, and other amenities.
