We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. Duties
- Prepare patients for surgery by conducting pre-operative assessments and educating them about the procedure.
- Assist in the administration of anesthesia and monitor patients' vital signs during surgery.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform airway management and IV infusion as necessary throughout surgical procedures.
- Provide acute pain management and ostomy care post-operatively.
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Document patient care accurately in medical records and assist in post-operative recovery.
- Participate in continuous education and training programs to enhance clinical skills.
Skills
- Proficiency in airway management techniques
- 2 Years Experience working in an operating room setting is required
- Large joints as well as sports medicine knowledge is preferred
- Familiarity with medical office protocols and CT imaging processes is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
