What are the responsibilities and job description for the Womens Health Nurse Practitioner position at Physician Services?
We are seeking a Women's Health Nurse Practioner to join our compassionate and committed team of OG / Gyn physicians at a regional birthing center located in SE Indiana.
The Family and Baby-Friendly Birthing Center provides a full range of baby delivery services welcoming over 1,200 babies each year. Each LDRP room is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment as a designated C-Section OR suite. The Birthing Center offers two levels of nursery care and includes a physician lounge equipped with a screen for fetal monitoring of each patient.

Anticipated Work Schedule & Support :
8 am to 4 : 30 pm for 4 days a week (M,T,W,F)
No Call Schedule
2 NP s, 2 Sonographers, & a phlebotomist provide Clinic support
18 rooms and 2 procedure rooms
Types of Outpatient Visits : Well-woman exams, OB returns, GYN problems (bleeding, vaginitis, breast lumps, pain, and postpartum depression), referrals from outside providers, IUD insertions, IUD follow-ups, Nexplanon insertion, and post-partum visits.

Special Skills / Procedures Required : Experienced nurse practitioner who has collaborated with a physician in an OBGYN physician in a previous role. The nurse practitioner will have their own panel of patients but will also work as an extender to the physicians of the practice. Women s health and EPIC experience are a plus but not a requirement.
