The Physicians' Clinic of Iowa Department of ENT is seeking a full-time Service Coordinator for its busy practice. This individual will coordinate daily operations and will serve as a resource for staff and physicians.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Establishing and maintaining scheduling procedures and maintaining daily contact with all scheduling reception areas.
- Serve as contact for communications systems and facility vendors.
- Supervise, coach and train staff; manage daily personnel issues.
- Prepare and maintain statistical data pertinent to the departments.
- Monitor and approve practice purchases and expenses such as office supplies, medical supplies, and fixed asset requests. Process accounts payable and disbursement requests.
- Monitor the needs of ENT patients to ensure they are met and communicate with patients who may need escalated assistance.
- The coordinator will also provide assistance in all areas of the clinic as needed to ensure quality patient care is delivered.
The leading candidate will demonstrate behaviors reflective of PCI’s culture including commitment to providing excellent patient care, dedication to teamwork and working well with others, reliability, and will possess excellent communication skills. Will have 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare environment and will have 2-5 years of supervisory experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary.
