Key Responsibilities:
Maximize patient satisfaction, provider efficiency, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or over the phone.
Ensure smooth scheduling by notifying providers of patient arrivals, reviewing service delivery compared to schedule, and addressing delays.
Alleviate patient anxieties by answering questions and providing comfort during their visit.
Maintain patient records by filing and retrieving necessary information.
Keep patient accounts up-to-date by collecting and recording personal and financial details.
Ensure revenue is obtained by processing payments, updating financial records, and managing patient balances.
Oversee office inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating supply needs, and placing orders as necessary.
Respond to patient emergencies and offer assistance when needed.
Uphold patient confidentiality by safeguarding personal and financial information.
Follow company policies and procedures to maintain smooth operations and report areas for improvement.
Contribute to team success by completing related tasks and supporting colleagues as needed.
Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, whether in person or over the phone, and direct inquiries accordingly.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical setting
Strong multitasking abilities and flexibility
Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills
Effective time management and organizational skills
Keen attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with scheduling and word processing
Professional demeanor and commitment to quality
Team-oriented attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
