What are the responsibilities and job description for the Agency Phone Sales Supervisor position at Physicians Mutual?
Physicians Mutual is hiring for a full time Agency Phone Sales Supervisor to oversee a team of Sales Agents/Representatives who assess customer’s needs and write applications via inbound and outbound calling programs.
What you get to do in this role:
- Lead by example to motivate, coach and encourage employees
- Supervises, trains and monitors agents to create a positive environment and meet department and individual goals
- Writes and delivers appraisals, as well as, initiates and reviews disciplinary actions
- Maintain employee records, production standards and quality statistics
- Provide input concerning completion of operation budget and coordinates Unit activities and calling programs
- Coordinates communication on processes and procedures to representatives and other members of management
- Assist customers who are making complex or unusual service requests
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree OR equivalent experience is required.
- 1.5 to 3 years’ experience in a sales/service/call center environment.
- Demonstrates leadership ability to effectively supervise, mentor and evaluate employees in a consistent manner.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal/written and interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Demonstrates strong vocabulary and ability to explain processes and procedures in a logical manner.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and good decision-making skills.
- Ability to navigate multiple tasks in order to meet established deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 years of supervisory experience.
- State insurance license for Life & Health.
