DATA SCIENCE INTERNSHIP
**12 Month Onsite Internship**
Physicians Mutual is looking for students with a desire to work with emerging technology. We will be providing interns a role that will deliver on the job training, mentorship and guidance. As an intern you will be assigned to a team, which owns the development and maintenance of our production systems. These teams are following the Agile/Scrum methodology with a focus on the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The position will be a 12-month onsite internship.
Job Requirements
- Enrolled in and/or recently graduated with a Data Science degree within the past 12 months.
- Strong interest in data science / data analytics.
Preferred
- Pursuing MS degree in Data Science
- Knowledge of Python programming
- Knowledge of Machine Learning Algorithms
- Understanding of Agile Methodologies.
- Theoretical knowledge of Snowflake Cloud.
- Understanding of modern cloud technologies is a plus
- Knowledge of SQL
- Insurance Industry a plus
