Physicians Mutual’ s HR Team is hiring a full time Recruitment Specialist with full life cycle recruiting experience including talent sourcing, attracting candidates, interviewing and ultimately hiring incredible employees. A successful Recruitment Specialist will collaborate with hiring managers, attract candidates using social media networks, develop talent pipelines, execute recruiting plans and network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employee referrals. We are looking for a dynamic and creative Recruiter who will coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives plus research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
What you get to do in this role:
• Develop a strong understanding and appreciation of the organization’s structure, culture and objectives in order to administer human resources programs and processes
• Directly source candidates, screen resumes, perform screening interviews and refer qualified candidates for to hiring managers
• Be an influencer with excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Maintain and increase pipeline of candidates by sources, to include job postings, recruiting databases, internet research and specialized sourcing methods
• Facilitate new hire onboarding activities
• Participate in University career fairs & networking events to increase recruitment pipelines.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. No degree with equivalent experience may be considered.
• 2-3 years’ experience working in Human Resources or related field.
• Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Preferred Experience:
• PHR / SHRM Certifications
• Experienced utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter to maximize recruitment efforts
• Insurance Industry experience
