Job Details :
PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN THE MEDICAL OFFICES IS REQUIRED :
Full-time / part time Monday to Friday hours expected 20-40.
Excellent work ethics.
REQUIRED : Close proximity to the clinic (no more then 15 min drive to Gulfport)
Able to work independently and good computer skills, can type fast and accurately.
Above-average math skills.
Data Entry.
Learn multiple duties and fill as needed.
Scheduling with attention to detail.
Able to fill in for front desk and do prior auth as needed.
Cover my meds prior auth.
New patient scheduling.
Able to multi-task.
Good attitude, energetic.
Fast learner.
Requirements :
PRIOR MEDICAL OFFICE EXPERIENCE OR EDUCATION is a plus (Recent graduate in medical assisting, medical billing, or office administration) but willing to train the right candidate.
MUST BE : Commuter literate, proficient in Excel, type minimum 45 wpm.
Above-average organizational skills to be able to locate files or patient records speedily.
Attention to detail to maintain patient records proficiently and accurately.
Knowledge of insurance order primary / secondary, insurance eligibility.
Precertification for procedures / medications.
New patient scheduling.
The ability to process cash or credit card payments, print scan, upload.
You will be on the computer most of the day, computer skills are a must.
Medical billing knowledge would be a plus, able to explain patients' balances, and read EOBs.
Front desk, prior authorization experience required (procedures, medications).
Knowledge of Practice Fusion and Advanced MD (not required).
