This role requires a strong foundation in critical care nursing, as well as the ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and utilize medical imaging systems effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, monitoring vital signs and assessing patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care activities.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment options, and recovery processes.
- Participate in continuous education and training programs to enhance nursing skills, particularly in pediatrics and ophthalmology.
Skills
- Ability to do Central Lines
- Strong knowledge of critical care nursing principles and practices.
- Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation techniques and medical imaging systems.
- Experience or interest in pediatrics is a plus.
- Ability to perform sonography procedures when required.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate medical records.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
