Job Summary
The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for coordinating clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care, and supporting staff within a designated department or clinical area. This role involves overseeing workflows, managing resources, and fostering collaboration among interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The Clinical Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for clinical inquiries, process improvements, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
Essential Functions
- Coordinates daily clinical operations, including patient flow, resource allocation, and staff assignments, to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
- Supports clinical staff by providing guidance, addressing concerns, and assisting with complex patient care situations.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate care plans, ensuring alignment with patient needs and departmental goals.
- Assists in onboarding and training new clinical staff, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards.
- Maintains accurate documentation related to patient care, clinical activities, and quality measures as required.
- Serves as a liaison between clinical staff, physicians, patients, and families to facilitate communication and resolve concerns.
- Ensures the availability and proper use of equipment, supplies, and resources needed for patient care.
- Participates in emergency response planning and execution, supporting staff and patients during critical situations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting required
- 1-2 years of prior experience in a coordination role preferred

Licenses and Certifications
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
