As a Surgical Technician, you will assist in surgical operations and prepare and maintain the operating room environment.
You will work closely with our medical staff to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure a safe and efficient surgical experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgical operations under supervision
- Prepare and maintain operating room environment
- Maintain accurate records of medication used, specimens retrieved, tissue implanted, implants, liquids or chemicals on field
- Pass instruments and sterile supplies to surgical assistants
- Perform various tasks as needed to ensure smooth operation of the operating room
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Two years of hospital main operating room experience preferred
- Certified Surgical Technician (CST) or other Surgical Technician certifications preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Favorable result on background check required
- Ability to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
