A Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) is responsible for decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, sterilizing, and distributing medical instruments and equipment used in healthcare settings. This role is crucial in preventing infections and ensuring patient safety by maintaining strict sterilization standards.

Job Requirements:
- High School (or GED equivalent) diploma
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Completion of a Sterile Processing Technician certification program
- Certification through CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution) or IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management)
