Key Responsibilities and Time Allocation
The position involves a range of critical responsibilities aimed at supporting and managing various work streams, providing strategic support, and ensuring effective communication across teams and management. The key responsibilities include:
- Project Management and Support of Work Streams: Managing and supporting multiple work streams by communicating project activities across regions and functions. This includes prioritizing and managing multiple projects and programs, utilizing project implementation documentation such as toolkits and migration schedules, and escalating risks and their impact on business initiatives to management.
- Strategic Support for Portfolio of Work: Designing and creating strategic documents like Project Business Cases, Assessments, Communication Plans, and detailed project plans. This also involves presenting project updates and making presentations to senior-level management within Finance, as well as facilitating decision-making processes and helping solve key project issues.
- Communication with Key Management and Team Members: Ensuring that key stakeholders and team members are consistently informed of multiple project activities and progress. This requires aligning priorities and ensuring seamless coordination across regions and functions.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor Degree or advanced degree (MBA, Masters) in Economics, Finance, or similar field. Equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree is also acceptable.
- 5 years experience in Finance and Accounting; 2-3 years of project management experience can be part of experience.
- Other requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training)
- PMP certification preferred but not required
