Our Client, a Global Investment Bank, is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Analyst in their Jacksonville, FL location.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze regulatory reports in compliance with global banking standards.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data submissions.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, to manage and analyze large datasets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather and validate financial information.
- Maintain data integrity within reporting systems and databases.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial reports through analytical problem-solving.
- Adhere to strict reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding financial reporting requirements.
Requirements:
- 3–7 years of banking experience, preferably in regulatory reporting at a global investment bank.
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic accounting knowledge within banking, with a preference for regulatory reporting experience in CFO functions.
- Experience with database/data warehouse management and other data analytical tools.
- Understanding of banking products and balance sheet items such as loans, trading assets (fixed income and equities), deposits, and other financial instruments.
- Knowledge of a bank’s organizational structure and general accounting/reporting requirements.
