Our Client, a Global Investment Bank, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst within their Fund Services Group.
About the Role:
The Product Development team is looking for a Consultant to support and enhance technical systems that drive the Private Equity Fund Administration business. This role involves business analysis, technical project management, and developing solutions to address complex operational challenges. The Consultant will work closely with clients and internal teams to resolve issues, implement system enhancements, and support initiatives in areas such as Portfolio Accounting, Investor Allocations, Trade Processing, Risk Mitigation, and Client Onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Technical Support:
- Perform in-depth analysis of business and technical processes to identify root causes of issues and propose effective solutions.
- Collaborate with technology teams to document and implement resolutions for system-related challenges.
Project Management & System Enhancements:
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring clear communication with technology teams for implementation.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of proprietary applications to meet business needs.
Client Onboarding & Data Integration:
- Assist with onboarding new clients to internal systems, ensuring accurate translation and migration of historical data.
- Work meticulously to align external client data with internal system requirements.
Process Improvement & Collaboration:
- Contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives to enhance system functionality and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technical teams to ensure seamless communication and execution.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of computer science principles and experience in technical environments within financial institutions.
- Familiarity with software development cycles, Agile methodologies, and tools like Jira.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a creative and independent problem-solving approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in Private Equity Fund Administration or related financial services.
- Knowledge of portfolio accounting, trade processing, or investor allocations.
- Prior experience in client onboarding and data migration processes.
Salary : $70 - $79
