What are the responsibilities and job description for the SVP, US Controller- Investment Bank position at Phyton Talent Advisors?
Prominent, international investment bank seeks a Controller to lead it's US corporate accounting function.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days per week in office in either Midtown Manhattan or Jersey City.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee preparation of the consolidated financial statement for the US business
- Manage and train a staff of 10
- Oversee all general ledger accounting functions including journal entries and books and records
- Help to improve efficiency of accounting systems and processes
- Present findings to and participate in strategic planning with C-level executives and the front office
Qualified candidates must have 10 years of experience in a controllership function in the banking industry
CPA required
Base salary 225k-275k DOE plus competitive bonus and benefits
Salary : $225,000 - $275,000
