Autonomous vehicles have some of the largest most complex software ever shipped in a safetycritical environment. Solving that problem is one of the most exciting technical challenges of our lifetime. As a Software Development Engineer in Test on the Product Software Quality Assurance team your role will focus on building scalable integration automation frameworks and enhancing existing frameworks for automated testing of mobile applications. You will design and implement functional and integration automation tests for mobile applications used by our customer fleet ensuring comprehensive test coverage and reducing manual testing efforts. By prioritizing automation for repetitive tasks developing robust regression suites and focusing on edge cases and highstress scenarios you will ensure the reliability of safetycritical tools. In This Role You Will
Architect and maintain scalable mobile test automation frameworks.
Lead test strategy development and implementation across mobile platforms.
Create and execute automated tests for iOS and Android applications.
Drive quality improvements through effective test coverage and bug detection.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to optimize testing workflows.
Provide technical mentorship and framework support to team members.
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with 5 years of experience in mobile test automation.
Strong programming skills in Python Swift Kotlin and Java.
Proven expertise with mobile app testing frameworks including XCUITest Espresso Compose and Appium as well as design patterns.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience developing custom mobile testing tools.
Performance testing and optimization expertise.
API test automation and test data management experience.
