Job Title : SQL Server Database Administrator
Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Server Database Administrator to manage and maintain our SQL Server environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SQL Server DB maintenance, Always On Availability Groups, and Transaction Log Replication.
Key Responsibilities :
- Database Maintenance : Perform regular database maintenance tasks including backups, restores, index optimization, and database integrity checks.
- Always On Availability Groups : Configure and manage Always On Availability Groups to ensure high availability and disaster recovery for critical databases.
- Transaction Log Replication : Implement and manage transaction log replication to ensure data consistency and low latency between Publisher and Subscriber databases.
- Performance Tuning : Monitor and optimize SQL Server performance, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement best practices for efficient database operations.
- Security : Implement and maintain database security policies, manage user permissions, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Capacity Planning : Plan for future database growth and capacity needs, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Support & Troubleshooting : Provide 24 / 7 support for SQL Server environments, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure continuous operation.
- Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
