About the role:
Are you passionate about empowering students and fostering an environment where they can thrive? Pi515 is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Student Engagement & Success Coordinator to join our team. This full-time role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting and enhancing student success initiatives.
This position is full time and requires that you work office hours of 9am-5pm. This is an onsite role. A few times throughout the year, there are events which you will coordinate which require some evenings and weekends.
In this role, you will collaborate with students, families, and community partners to build recruitment strategies, remove barriers to participation, and ensure students have access to the resources they need to succeed. Additionally, you will manage administrative duties including coordinating communication, maintaining data, preparing reports, overseeing scheduling, and supporting program logistics to ensure smooth operations.
As a key team member, you will:
- Build positive relationships with students and families, encouraging active participation in programs.
- Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and partners to enhance recruitment and program diversity.
- Support student programs, fostering an inclusive environment that prioritizes success.
Your contributions will help create a supportive community that empowers students, promotes engagement, and nurtures growth.
As a Student Engagement & Success Coordinator, a typical day may include:
Student Success & Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for students and families, providing timely and effective support, guidance, and resources.
- Source and curate external opportunities and resources that supplement students’ growth as Pi515 participants.
- Develop selection criteria and methods to identify and recruit participants that align with the programs.
- Provide advising and career counseling, and develop workshops on topics such as time management, study skills, and career planning.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages student engagement.
Community Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with schools, community organizations, and corporate partners to strengthen program reach and impact.
Program Support
- Support the growth and management of student programs, including recruitment strategies for underserved communities.
- Enhance access to resources and oversee initiatives like the Youth Advisory Board.
- Collaborate with the Program Manager on program marketing, event planning, and data-driven improvements.
- Track student outcomes and maintain accurate data of program participation and effectiveness.
Administrative Support
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, document organization, and responding to inquiries.
- Coordinate meetings, events, and office organization while maintaining accurate student and volunteer data.
- Contribute in creating presentations, newsletters, and other communications.
- Maintain a clean and organized office space, ensuring supplies are monitored and reordered as needed.

- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative role/s, student services, academic advising, early career recruitment, or equivalent volunteer or related experience.
- Experience working, volunteering, and/or supporting a non-profit organization is preferred, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and community partners.
- You have experience with, and a knack for managing and prioritizing multiple requests, delivering to timelines and ability to meet deadlines/project goals/milestones.
