Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and seat them in a timely and friendly manner.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart.
- Answer the phone and take reservations, answer questions, or provide information as needed; must be able to work with OpenTable, Toast, and DoorDash.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the waiting area and hostess stand.
- Assist in managing the flow of guests during busy service periods to ensure smooth seating.
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and promptly.
- Assist with any additional tasks as needed to ensure the front-of-house operations run smoothly.
- Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stay organized and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and a team-oriented approach.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
