This role involves direct collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, manage resources, and support program objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of manufacturing and build activities, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and quality assurance teams to align production schedules and resources.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Troubleshoot production issues, resolve bottlenecks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing activities, including work orders, schedules, and material usage.
- Support prototype development and assist in transitioning designs from concept to production.
- Provide training and mentorship to production team members on procedures and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in manufacturing software tools and systems, such as ERP/MRP platforms.
- Knowledge of quality control systems and standards, such as AS9100 or ISO 9001.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or production environments, ideally in aerospace or related industries.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies is a plus.
- Must meet U.S. Government Export Control compliance requirements as a “U.S. Person.”
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
