DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SALES MANAGER (include but are not limited to):
The qualified Sales Manager must be able to generate sales, assist the General Sales Manager in supervising the new/used Sales Team and BDC, communicate with customers, build client relationships, and ensure that all employees are adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Create monthly and annual sales goals
- Hire, train, and supervise sales employees
- Support sales staff in deal closure and approval
- Handle retail related concerns and customer complaints
- Assist in vehicle inventory levels and control
- Assist General Sales Manager with appraisals, daily operations, and logistics
- Engaging customers early in the sales process to optimize closing ratio
- Consistently provide the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Pricing vehicles to market in a highly competitive environment
- Support, encourage, and motivate sales personnel to maintain high morale
- Present and demonstrate product line throughout the vehicle buying process
- Deliver information clearly, accurately and promptly via email, phone and in person
