  • Maintain your CCL and HR file by keeping paperwork and certifications updated.
  • Attend Piazza mandatory meetings and training as needed
  • All other duties as assigned
    

Community Care Licensing Qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• At least one year of experience working in a childcare setting
• Physician signed Health Screening Report (within last year)
• Current proof of these immunizations
  • TB
  • Pertussis
  • MMR
  • Flu
• CA Background Clearance Active Clearance Number with no exemptions
• Official transcripts showing no less than 12 units (with passing grades) in Early Childhood Education or Child Development specifically:
  • Child Growth and Dev/Human Growth and Dev
  • Child Family and Community
  • Program/Curriculum
  • ECE or CD elective
• Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification
• Current Mandated Reporter Training certificate
• Current DPR-Integrated Germ Management certificate
  

Preferred Additional Coursework/Certifications:

• Child Development Permit (CDP) - Associate Teacher or above issued by the California Commission on Credentialing (CTC)
• AA Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education
• 6 ECE units in Infant/Toddler Care
• 3 ECE units in School-Age Programs
• 16-hour preventative health practice certification
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Water Safety Certificate

Proficiencies:

• Knowledge of Title 22/Title 5, best practices and preschool educational methods
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work together with others successfully at all levels and across diverse cultures
• Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, push, pull, sit/stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs

Pay Ranges from $16.50 - $25.00 per hour based on education and experience.
