Job Summary :
PIC Group has a great opportunity for a Commissioning Manager to support a 50MWth test facility in La Porte, TX burns natural gas with near zero emissions. The plant uses oxy-combustion in a supercritical CO2 atmosphere that turns a turboexpander to produce electricity while inherently capturing the CO2. The Commissioning Manager is responsible for managing, monitoring, and controlling all aspects of commissioning, startup, testing, client turnover, and initial operations to ensure project objectives are met. This includes overseeing the process from construction release, turnover, and through completion of the commissioning phase. The Commissioning Manager works closely with the site leaders to develop and maintain a coordinated approach towards project planning and project management to ensure smooth transitions through all phases of the project.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee all aspects of the site planning, staffing, scheduling, budgeting, quality, safety, close out and coordination of all Startup and Commissioning activities.
- Instill a culture within the Project Startup and Commissioning Team, including subcontractors, which ensures commitment to outstanding community, occupational health and safety and environment performance on site.
- Clearly communicate the project's vision, strategies, and objectives to the Startup and Commissioning team to ensure alignment and breakthrough performance.
- Develop, manage, and maintain site startup and commissioning resources to meet the goals and objectives of the project.
- Ensure all systems meet the construction completion requirement prior to handover to Startup and Commissioning.
