Store Set Up Team
Description
Develop store team through coaching, training and mentoring management and associates to implement and maintain daily procedures, operations and policies of store. Setting stores to company guidelines and merchandise standards.
Training
- Training management and employees in daily procedures
- Training in product and merchandise intake
- Training in POS
- Assisting with orientation and training of store policies and procedures
Staffing
- Assist in hiring, training, developing, and supervising staff
- Provide staff with performance goals, coaching, training, and evaluation
- Coordinate staffing schedules to meet company labor cost to percent to sales goal
Compliance
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure store compliance with the safety policies and procedures outlined as well as local health regulations
- Collaborate with management to ensure store compliance with wage requirements, work hours requirements, and equal employment opportunities as per the company’s stated policies and according to state and federal compliance
Operations
- Direct tasks to support and execute the setting of merchandise to floor plan layout to meet grand opening timelines
- Ensure communication pertaining to goals, updates, and KPI’s are funneled to store associates in a timely manner
- Lead and mentor associates and management team
- Safeguard company culture and address or report up all employee issues as required per company policies
Post Opening Support
- Exceed customer expectations in every aspect of the store, including store appearance, display of merchandise, product placement, store layout, and selling procedures
- Understanding strategic goals such as sales targets, customer count, average transactions, shrink and scrap, and loyalty customers
- Assist in managing labor and efficiency
Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:
- Ability to travel domestically
- Sufficient knowledge of operating retail stores and management procedures
- Lifting items weighing up to 50lbs, standing for long periods of time, squatting, kneeling, bending, reaching, grabbing, and pulling
Operating material handling equipment. Required certifications will be administered on the job
Salary
$25 - $30 per hour
